Brief description:

The National Transport Plan, which is submitted to the Storting (the Parliament) as a white paper, is produced every four years and sets forth the Government’s transport goals, strategies and priorities in a long-term perspective. The National Transport Plan 2022–2033 (Report No 20 to the Storting (2020–2021)) was presented to the public and submitted to the Storting in March 2021. This is the sixth plan under the current planning system, covering all modes of transport. The plan presents policies and priorities within an economic frame for a twelve year period and provides perspectives towards 2050.
