| Brief description: | This Federal Law defines the status of the continental shelf of the Russian Federation, the sovereign rights and jurisdiction of the Russian Federation over its continental shelf and their exercise in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the generally recognized principles and rules of international law and the international treaties of the Russian Federation. Matters relating to the continental shelf of the Russian Federation and activities thereon not provided for in this Federal Law shall be regulated by other federal laws applicable to the continental shelf of the Russian Federation. |
